Changes
This is the first release of the new Dc-Qt featuring the seperate dc++ backend implementation.
Known Problems and Limitations
This release is an alpha that still has some problems and lots of functionality unimplemented. The most urgent and those that are on the top of our list are:
Private chat
Not implemented.
Hub password
Not implemented
Remote backend connections
This has not been tested at all so no promises on how it works.
File list search
The search functionality in the user file listing is not implemented.
Autoconnect of favourites
Favourites that are check to autoconnect on startup are not.
Start backend on OS X
On Mac OS X we are having problems knowing if the backend is started correctly when starting the user interface. Because of this you will very likely receive a dialog telling you that the backend could not be started when running on Mac OS X. There is a simple workaround for this and that is to shut down the UI and answer Yes when asked if you should leave the backend running. When you restart the UI again it will connect correctly to the backend.
